You will find it next to the Jerónimos Monastery, another important place in the city; this planetarium has a huge projector that is used to simulate the night sky, thanks to which you can take a walk on the moon or glimpse the different constellations of the Milky Way.
Other things that you will not want to miss during your visit are: the Carmo Church, a beautiful Gothic church that lost its roof in the earthquake of 1755, the Jerónimos Monastery, one of the monuments declared a World Heritage Site. And, of course, if you climb the Elevador de Santa Justa, a neogothic style construction of great beauty, you will have an impressive panoramic view of the entire city.
