Casa Nun is a small and cosy restaurant that is specialised in rice and has been runned by the same family for more than 20 years. Its terrace overlooks the sea and is located on the beach, a location that everyone loves. The dishes most loved by its customers are the zarzuela, the vegetables with squid, the shrimp tempura and the different types of paella. Prices range from 25 euros per person and it is recommended to book a table because it is usually full.

Empuriabrava is a destination where you can enjoy an excellent gastronomy, and here -to change a little from the rice dishes and the grilled meats- you will find this place with a creative cuisine. Those who went to this restaurant talk especially about its views (the promenade) and the staff. They have several menus (approximately 25-30 euros per person) and, in their menu, dishes that stand out are: poached egg with truffle potato foam and Ceps and Jabugo vinaigrette; beef carpaccio with Parmesan, truffle oil and dried or golden tomato with peanut skin, basil and green risotto. The desserts are also very good: panna cotta de azahar or banana and raspberry cheesecake.

Located in the middle of the bay, in the sand – it has a terrace with very nice views, so beautiful that it has been declared the best terrace on the Costa Brava. Its interior is decorated with care in a marine style – photos of fishermen, wooden lamps etc. You will find it at the end of Canadell beach during the spring and summer months, because in the coldest days of autumn and during winter, it’s closed. The salmon tartare, the black rice, the seafood rice and the steamed mussels are the best.
